And like we’ve all heard before, unforgiveness usually hurts the unforgiver as much, if not more than, the unforgiven. As John says, “He who says he has no sin is a liar and the truth is not in him”. Let us be charitable and abundant in our forgiveness, as the Father has been so much more so with us.

I agree, Jamie! Unforgiveness is ugly, and I should know, CAN I GET AN AMEN, SISTER? It even led me to a point of self-righteousness that I’d not known since being Saved 10 years ago. It also started to mask what humility I’d learned from the Word. IT’S UNACCEPTABLE, PERIOD.

Daily releasing unforgiveness, replacing it with forgiveness and forgetting, is cause for celebration. I mean BIG celebration, like a birthday party, engagement announcement, housewarming shower – you get the poing – IT’S HUGE!!

I moved to Cape Town in the beginning of the year and started on a new contract for a company called MXit.

I haven’t been around my friends’ blogs in a while and I only read your latest posts now…

I try to tell my Sunday school children that the Lord tells us things NOT INCASE WE NEED THE INFO, BUT BECAUSE WE WILL NEED THE INFO. This rings so true in this commandment. On another note – when we are thinking and talking about our love for Him, we can’t be doing things that cause trouble.

Oh for my children to understand this at a young age!! This was incredible, so true, so obvious, yet years go by and few do anything about their desire for the Law. You see so much hurt from those trying to work, work, work – to earn Him. We never will, that’s why He died – WAKE UP PEOPLE.
Keep up the incredible posts, my Friend, they are so needed!

o.k. dad did you get that from life or your masters degree. maybe both. I am sure that all things come with growth and I hope that when I am your age and have gone through more years of life I will be at a stage where I can control myself better. I think this experience is helping me get to that place.

I love this blog. it really helps to hear what others think of things. Thank you all for your words.

I think we all need to temper our tempers sometimes. I know it doesn’t always help but you know where I am if you need to talk. Maybe I can talk you down or justify what you’re saying. I’m with Michael, we can all work on doing this together. I’m sure God will love having his people joyful and not desiring to be somewhere else instead of fellowshiping (i think i made up a word) and worshiping in his house. Love you!
